Virtual Consultation

Our most basic service, this is a one-off virtual meeting offering parents relocation advice in relation to placing their children into schools in the UK, what to expect and how to apply.  

This service provides you with a single hour-long discussion on-line with one of our consultants, catering to parents who are either contemplating or fully committed to relocating to a new area.   

This service proves especially beneficial parents may find themselves uncertain about a move or if they have concerns regarding schooling options.   

During this Consultation, they will receive a valuable overview of the local education system, along with guidance for families with children ranging from Nursery to Year 12. While specific school recommendations for children are not provided, the session does offer insights into the various types of schools available in a potential new location.  

The conversation will be tailored based on preliminary details shared by the family prior to the consultation.  

We will explore differences between the home and host country school systems, considering long-term education goals alongside immediate needs.  

Our guidance covers planning for repatriation or future assignments, critical transition ages in the UK system, curriculum variances, available school types, and more.  

According to the needs of the family we can discuss the distinctions between Advanced Placement (US/Canada), International Baccalaureate, and the UK exam system, outlining general admission requirements for private/international and state schools.   

Our support extends to state/public and specialist schooling, and private/international school admissions testing and preparation. Our consultant can also offer guidance around academic year planning, and specialised assistance available at the host location.  

Following the consultation, our education consultant will provide a full summary of the discussion and any helpful fact sheets that may add support to the family requirements.
